Though the development of national bioplastics markets in Europe is progressing at different rates and is influenced by differing driving forces, bioplastics are currently in use in many countries across Europe. Demand is growing dynamically. The number of companies that produce, process or use these products is also increasing considerably. European Bioplastics, national networks and associations represent the interests of private enterprises throughout the European Union.
