Terms and Conditions
Scope of Application
The following terms and conditions shall be part of all our contracts of sales and attendance. Upon receipt of these terms and conditions without contradiction the contracting party shall be deemed to accept them.
Terms of Payment
After online registration your booking is confirmed immediately (auto-reply). With this email you also receive the conference invoice. Payment must be received latest before the conference date (see date and time limit of the invoice). Please make sure that your bank transfer is made accurately and in time. All prices are subject to VAT (value added tax).
If payment is not received, delegates will be asked to pay cash at the registration desk to access the conference.
Bookings received less than two weeks prior to the start of the conference should be paid online by credit card or cash at the conference desk unless bank transfer can be secured in due time. Other payment methods such as cheques and bills of exchange are not accepted.
The conference fee covers entrance to all sessions, conference documentation and available papers, coffee and refreshment breaks, lunch, cocktail reception and conference dinner.
Costs for accommodation and other hotel services are NOT included in the conference fee. Hotel and venue information is available on the conference website.
We provide vegetarian options at our conferences, but please inform us if you need us to cater for any other dietary requirements.
Conference attendees will be provided with a conference badge to allow for identification.

Cancellations & Substitutions
Cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing.
For cancellations made before 13 August 2012, ten percent (10%) of the invoice total will be charged. For cancellations made between 13 August and 8 October 2012, fifty percent (50%) of the invoice total will be charged. The full invoice total (100%) will be charged for cancellations after 8 October 2012. However, you can send a substitute delegate at the condition of written notice until 2 November 2012.
By entering your details, you agree to allow European Bioplastics e.V. and companies associated with this event to contact you (by mail, email, telephone, SMS or fax) regarding their services. If you do not wish to receive such communications please contact us in writing.
Consumer’s Right of Revocation
In case of distance contracts, consumers shall be entitled to revoke the registration for a conference or congress or rather the purchase within 14 days after conclusion of the in written form without giving reasons. In this case no cancellation fee will be charged. Timely dispatch of the revocation notice to the following address shall suffice to comply with the revocation period: European Bioplastics e.V., Marienstrasse 19/20, 10117 Berlin, Germany.
Place of Performance, Place of Jurisdiction
The place of performance of all contractual obligations shall be the registered office of our company. If the customer is a merchant, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the contractual relationship shall be Berlin (Germany). However, we shall be entitled to sue the customer at his general place of jurisdiction.
