European Bioplastics has developed a comprehensive communications plan, ranging from newsletters and position papers to regular twitter updates, ensuring that European Bioplastics is able to accommodate the information needs of stakeholders, members and everyone interested in bioplastics.

For our members, we serve as a platform to gain general industry knowledge, support business interests, connect with others in the bioplastics value chain, and discuss topics of crucial importance to the bioplastics sector with other stakeholders.

For consumers and legislators interested in bioplastics, we are happy to act as an authoritative source of information on bioplastic products and their unique benefits to creating a sustainable society.

Sustainability is, after all, one of the major society’s needs. This is why we support the technological innovation of bioplastics – to reduce environmental impact. Promoting efficient recovery and recycling systems, as well as supporting standards and certifications for transparent claims about bioplastics, is an integral part of our daily work.

5th European Bioplastics Conference

In addition to our day-to-day activities, we take part in major industry events and organise the leading conference format “European Bioplastics Conference” in Berlin, Germany. At the annual conference, our members and all visitors are offered the opportunity to meet with experts, industry, media and policy-makers to network and discuss issues that affect the bioplastics industry as a whole.
